A security issue is open in squeeze (bug #701897). It is not an urgent
problem but, as suggested by the security team, it would be good to
solve it.

Unless someone's planning on coming up with a solution that works for
both stable and development releases, that bug should probably be marked
as "fixed" in a post-wheezy ve

I noticed libgeotiff-dfsg was not migrating to testing and discovered
that the reason was that liblas needed updating to also use
libtiff5-alt-dev. I prepared such an update and when I got no maintainer
response I NMUd it. That NMU has now reached migration age but it
doesn't seem to be getting

Hi David,
since you uploaded the other two iceweasel extension PUs, you might be
interested in doing this one as well to fix #686088, approved patch in
#714579.
Otherwise I would proceed with a NMU, but I cannot test the package
beyond verifying that it is installable again.
Cheers,
Andreas
