Dear Release Managers,
Sandro's earlier matplotlib to t-p-u (0.98.1-1+lenny1) did not build
on several architectures, since the mismatched versions of gcc and g++
were on the architectures in question caused the build system to
break. So, I have worked around this by using g++ to build the

Hi,
I'd like to request an unblock for gpaint version 0.3.3-2. It fixes
two important bugs and complements the fix done by the 0.3.3-1.1 NMU.
Here are the relevant debian/changelog entries:
gpaint (0.3.3-2) unstable; urgency=low
* debian/patches/20_fix_line_width_combo.dpatch: Add missing line
Afaict the previous build attempt failed due to desynced apache

Hi,
The revision of swac-get currently sitting in unstable (0.3-2) close the
bug #500686.
The upstream version of this package is 0.4, but a 0.3-2 revision of the
package has
been specially packaged to fix the problem in Lenny.
Please allow it in testing.
Regards,
Nicolas

I'd like to ask for pre-approval of a few changes to prayer:
1) prayer.init: Correctly check for the presence of the executables.
(Fixes init script failure when package is in config-files state.)
2) Split out templates to a separate arch-indep package (prayer-templates).
(Lintian recommends it.

Could you please unblock acpid? The only change is that the distribution is now
checked during build time instead of system boot. This speeds up thing quite a
lot.

I completely agree that libdb4.3 is ancient grot, and it should be
removed from the archive.
I am distressed that the maintainers decided to wait until the freeze to
do that. This is entirely *backwards*. The time to decide, "hey, this
library should be removed" is at the *beginning* of the rele

hey,
I've just uploaded firmware-nonfree 0.13. It resolves 2 RC bugs:
494936 - bnx2 fails to load on bootup, succeeds on manul load
500692 - FTBFS: depends on linux-support-2.6.25-2
And one 'normal' one (that should be bumped to important, imo):

Hi,
I just uploaded gnugk 2:2.2.7-3-2.
The bug it fixes is not RC; however, it is a regression fix (breaks some
existing configurations) and the diff is _very_ small.

Hi,
sbackup has an RC bug without maintainer response for two months
(#493840). The submitter (mind you, a Debian developer) still owes a
mail about whether he can give some hints how to reproduce, but really,
a sufficiently interested maintainer would have processed it somewhat

I'm another Olivier, but I can provide some feedback still.
As far as we're concerned all reported bugs, regarding insecure usage of
tmp, have been fixed in Sympa. It's now up to the Debian maintainer to
apply the patches to the Debian package.
If we've missed something, please let us know...

Hi,
referencer_1.1.3-2 fixes a pretty embarassing and user-visible bug:
Whenever a user selects a document and hits enter to view it, referencer
crashes. Even though viewing documents is not the prime use-case of
