Hi,
iso-codes 1.2-1 has been sitting in unstable for 10 days and is blocked
because of the udeb. If the installer team does not object, could you
please unblock iso-codes to migrate to testing?

Dear SRMs,
Please accept (I suppose for r2) lib3ds 1.2.0-4.1+etch1, just uploaded to
proposed-updates.
This is a reupload of my previous NMU, lib3ds 1.2.0-4.2, which missed etch
r0 by a day due to a missing hppa build.
The upload fixes bug #399761, a bug that resulted in previous versions of

Please binNMU these packages on all architectures (rebuild will add
support for python2.5):

libgpod had a soname change. The following rdepends should probably be
binNMUed (I've built all of them locally successfully against the new
version):
tripod_0.7.0-1, rebuild against libgpod2, 1, alpha amd64 arm hppa i386 ia64
m68k mips powerpc s390
(has RC bugs and is not in testing, though)

Given that the problem that causes the nVidia drivers to not work was
already fixed upstream in 2.6.22, it would have been nice for users in

Hm, who is “you” in this case? For me, as mksh maintainer, it's “just”
important that all shells that CAN be used as /bin/sh have the exact

Exactly. So no really need to make it _easier_ to use anything except
dash, as dash is proven to speed up the boot by at least 7%. None of
the others have documente

Can you explain why the release team would do that? You're not the
maintainer

First of, this is already possible, so that wouldn't be a change, just
keeping currently existing behaviour.
Second, Debian policy states that
