While the bug was 100% reproducible for a couple of months following my
original report, a recent random retest has shown that it no longer is.

The default setup, where deleted messages are moved to a local trash
folder, is quite countrary to the IMAP spirit as it means downloading
the message to the local trash folder.

The current UI makes it a default that all the IMAP folders are checked
for new mail (if the account is checked for the new mail). To disable
it, one has to select each folder separately in the folder list, and
disable the checking for it. In my

1) when I get new mail in the !bulk folder (e.g. from the bugs.d.o
confirmation about this bug), while viewing INBOX, i see the !bulk counter
increase from 15 to 16
2) when I then select !bulk the counter goes to 1 (correct), and I see 4 msgs
there, 3 old and the 1 ne

Under the Russian locale, my folders "!admin, !bulk, !block, !spam"
which were named like that to get sorted ahead of all the other folders
get sorted as if the "!" were not there. With the POSIX locale, it
doesn't happen, hence the l10n

When I flipped it to auto-expunge=true (which was the way kmail originally
writes it out in kmailrc), the bug stopped manifesting itself.
