When I started up kmail for the first time, I got two dialog boxes
on top of each other. (Using dialogs to deliver messages to the user
is bad UI design, but that is not the bug here)
The visible one was just the "tip of the day" box. It could n

The problem also happens for Version 4.3.1-2
The LyX editor uses qt4, and the development version crashes for me
whenever it brings up the file dialog. In order to "Open"

I tried compiling the development version of lyx, which uses qt4.
It compiled fine, but I was surprised having to install

I run qtconfig-qt4 (or just qtconfig with /etc/alternatives set up for
this) and can do some changes, such as selecting the CDE look instead
of motif. I then save and exit. Rerunning qtconfig shows the

it seems wrong for it to even open /dev/dri/card0 which is a

/dev/dri/card0. Even better would be to detect that the users
processes all died, and go away so as to not tie up any resources. Not
even memory.
