Package: cucipop
Severity: wishlist
Attached is a patch for cucipop 1.31 to add PAM authentication
support. This applies directly over the debian source package,
includes needed additions to debian/{rules,dirs,conffile} as well
as a /etc/pam.d/cucipop file (placed as debian/pam.d after patching)
I don't subscribe to the QA list, but someone brought this to my attention.

Ummm. I think Branden is planning on changing these to be managed by the
alternatives mechanism. I think he's also planning on changing xterm's
(xterm, eterm, aterm, rxvt,

Is it possible that this is being overanalyzed? What if we just choose a
default by fiat (falling back to whatever happens to be installed, in no
particular order) and print a message about how to change it? Then
recommend gdm or wdm or some other display manage
