Hi everyone!
I have agreed with Jakub to take over python-docutils and I'm currently
preparing the first revision of the 0.11 release. I'd therefore like to
be added to the Modules Team. My username on Alioth is michi.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Michael

s on go about doing that, exactly?
I don’t think that this is strictly necessary, but it can’t hurt. As
far as I can tell, simply uploading the renamed package to NEW should
do. ftp-master’s cruft_report.py seems to search for duplicate binary
packages for this reason.

python-sphinx and rest2web don’t publicly enhance docutils (which is
another thing that might be worth changing). At the moment it’s really
just us three. So, Chris, what do you think? :-)

o includes a directory
called odpwriter to write presentation files. If I split this up
cleanly, I’d end up with four small binary packages (plus a transitional
dummy one if there is renaming). I’m not sure whether this is
desirable.

“python-docutils-X”: it’s short, reasonably
precise and explanatory. How do you think these packages should be
called? Any input is welcome, even if it’s just “it doesn’t matter.”

p to python-docutils, which
probably would have avoided that bug report in the first place.

ould still make sense to me, but that’s a
bit bulky.
Ccing debian-python to get some more opinions.
