Hmm. Odd. I do (PowerBook2,1) but my DVD drive on my XP SP3 machine won't burn
any disks CD DVD or floppy. (DVDs are lazer! How can 3.5" be read by a laser?)

I found the rescue install option in an Ubuntu install.Debian and Ubuntu are
basically identical except for the GUI. I use the install-free option (or
something like that).
