Grab pbbuttonsd, it sends your powerbook to sleep if you
hit the power button. I use it on a pismo, I suppose it
works on lombard

Hi,
I've got a serious problem with my ibook/G4. Since yesterday there
are frequent kernel crashes. No chance to get the system up without
a kernel crash. Booting in single user mode usually works, probably
because of much less disk io. As soon as larger processes like
postgresql or X11 are starte

Hi,
after updating pbbuttonsd in sid some days ago my pismo crashes
when it comes back from sleep. I suspect pbbuttonsd to be the
cause because that is the program being reported to run
when it crashes. I'm running linux 2.6.6 straight from kernel.org.

Sure it is supported.
pmac_zilog: 0.6 (Benjamin Herrenschmidt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>)
pmac_zilog: serial modem detected
ttyS0 at MMIO 0x80
you may want to put apples hardware test cd in and run a memory
test, though I would expect more problems if damaged memory
was the cause.

Hi,
there has been a number of problems with pbbuttons and friends,
and I couldn't find mine among them. So here it is.
A couple of weeks ago when pbbuttonsd 0.7.0 entered unstable
it all began. Since then I cannot change the brightness or volume
with the function keys and most of the time cannot

Same here.
Hi,
I feel like my good old Pismo is getting to hot, resulting
in random segm faults under heavy load. Though I'm runnig
sid this doesn't look like buggy software. I experience this
especially while compiling software. /proc/cpuinfo reports
about 50 C° than.
I also wonder, why the fan is never tu
