Lenny rootfs for mpc8360-rdk board cannot be mounted..

Hi, I am trying to mount the root fs using usb stick on mpc8360-rdk board. I think mpc8360 is e300 core. I could mount the etch root fs . But lenny is not working. I made initramfs with busybox and then called switch_root to the Filesystem. Does any one know solution to this prob. Thanks Ragh

Hi , I am trying to build rootfs for powerpc based (mpc8360) board. Etch is working using debootstrap..But when I tried lenny it is not working I am using initramfs to boot lenny/etch using the "exec switch_root newroot /sbin/init" Does any one know the reason. Thanks Raghu

Bash shell hangs on lenny (powerpc)

Hi All, When I tried to run Lenny on MPC8358 powerpc based board, it hangs. Ctrl-C, Ctrl-Z are not working. And I cannot return to bash shell. Shell is not responding , but serial console accepts characters. Does anybody have same kind of problem. What could be the reason for such kind of beha
