WHen I installed Potato, I didn't have a CD in the drive, and now I don't
have a /dev/cdrom. I remember that the command to is something like mknod.
What would the correct parameters be for the cdrom?

installing, until I had X configured properly. WHen I remove the 'prev'
prefix and start up the machine, I get the behavior described above.
My /etc/inittab shows that the default init level is, indeed, 2.

or Galeon (I have limited HD space). I tried Mozilla, but it just didn't
"feel right" - and IIRC, it was significantly slower than Opera.
