Any idea where I can find a active link?

I would second that also. Unfortunately, PowerPC support is dwindling from year

big-endian. I’m using ppc64le myself.
Thank you!

Finally the installation is running with the following command:
boot usb0/disk@1:2,\install\yaboot
I thought the new bootloader is GRUB?

Hello,
BE also works without problems on POWER9. For example AdelieLinux, VoidLinux,
but also Debian, according to this list:
https://wiki.raptorcs.com/wiki/Operating_System_Compatibility_List
By the way, Void uses Grub as bootloader, also on BE.
I've tried a number of distributions on my Black

Sorry, this isn’t true ...
Yes. I second that. Because a lots of people are picking the wrong ISO and are
yelling. I would prefer to move the latest ISO to current. Also there is no
Debian 9 or 10 of PowerPC be. Only sid.

Hi,
the MintPPC project uses the images from 2020-04-19
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/ports/snapshots/2020-04-19/
I guess, this should work.

What about the xorg.log or xorg config file? Maybe you have to blacklist the
other card in Grub?
Regarding X1900, the Mac Edition won’t work on Linux, because of the reduced
BIOS, IIRC.

MacPro by the way ;-)
Christian Zigotzky uses a 6970 in his X5000, IIRC. All Terascale GPUs should
work. Also a R5 230.
I myself don't have a G5 anymore, unfortunately. So I can only give you limited
tips.

Could you post your xorg.log file? Normally xorg detects the card by itself.
Is the Nvidia card working? I guess no, because Debian uses a Kernel pagesize
of 64KiB, IIRC? Nouveau needs a pagesize of 4KiB.

Using 2.5" drives in desktop machines (x86/amd64) works great for me.
They are quiet (inaudible in a desktop case) and don't use much power

But what's next? Corresponding to 'make bzlilo' or 'make bzdisk'?
How do you activate a boot block overtaking the new kernel file?
Is it sufficent to cp System.map and new-built kernel file to /boot/...

Commandig mkofbo

What can I do get a boot status similar to that before the RomUpdate?

Bye,
Karl-Heinz
was in April this year.
It is a lot easier to implement and configure it by yourself.
For your support the Tomcat FAQ's, lists and documents are full of
enlightments and solutuions for any problem you will have to deal with.
In all, mangling apache-jserv + cocoon mid last year was the more difficult
task for me.
Bye,
Karl-Heinz
re something special about the order to load these modules?
Thanks,
Karl-Heinz
looked it up in testing/non-US and unstable/non-US.
"E: Package tripwire has no installation candidate"
It is only there for i386.
If there is no solution with tripwire I believe I have to choose 'aide',
of which I heard the first time today in irc.
For aide there is a 'candidate' for ppc.
Ciao,
Karl-Heinz
any suggestions?
Thanks.
Karl-Heinz
Here is what has worked for me (from a hamm system).
mc, push F9 and choose "FTP link..."
lftp, has a useful mirror command
