This is what I use on my iMac DV with XFree86 4.0.3. You may not want the short monitor timeout, but I like it to turn off quickly when I'm logged out. Also, it's designed to work with Linux i386 keycodes, so you may need to adjust for that. Finally, your PCI device may be different
