no particular activity I have this. Because it prevents the HD to go in
a less power-consuming state, I decided to investigate.
I have the same unwanted

Hi,
sometimes, when I press a cursor key down, keep it pressed and then
release it again, the cursor still keeps moving and does not stop again.
It only stops, when I press another key.
I am currently using the Bitkeeper-Tree 2.4.20-pre10.
Bye, Claas

to have an xterm.
Can someone help me ?

It's a kernel bug, either in the kernel's input layer, or the ADB keyboard
driver. The kernel fails to send a key release event.
I have a patch which turns the ADB caps lock key into a PC-style caps lock key
so that it can be remapped to a Control key under X. This patch regularly
reports that it

Folks,
I'm trying to update the kernel on my old Macintosh 7200/90 PowerPC
(Oldworld).
I entered:
apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.18-powerpc
and Linux responded:
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
The following NEW packages will be installed:
