I've managed to compile Eclipse, but can't run it. When I run the resulting
eclipse executable it complains - 'bash: ./eclipse: cannot execute binary file'.
I've compiled it using Jikes on PowerBook G4.
Thanks,

You have to rebuild the eclipse executable.

hi,
I have an oldworld g3, original mac keyboard and I can't get the german
keyboard to work properly (no '@', '~', '|')
Actually _all_ the right hand modifiers don't work but:
dumpkeys (looking for 'Shift')
shows that 42 (working Shift_L) is there and 54 (which showkey reports
when I press Shift
I might also add that shift_r is working fine in open firmware,
it's _not_ the keyboard ;)

To fix this problem on the console I used
# dpkg-reconfigure console-data
and choose a qwertz usb-variant keyboard layout.
Pierre,
Thanks for that, although I followed the instructions and now get:
./eclipse: error while loading shared libraries: ./libXm.so.2: ELF file data
encoding not big-endian
Any thoughts?

Pierre,
Yep, had those libraries :-) . I've removed the libXm.so libraries from the
eclipse directory and that cures that problem. The next one is from the .log

I'm afraid it is, so it's not that. I can create files in the workspace
directory and the log file is: ./workspace/.metadata/.log and that can be
written to also.
Any more thoughts?
Many thanks for your patience so far!

Is this a clear sign that my network password is incorrect? I'm using:

As already has been said in a earlier post, you have to get the actual
WEP key. You cant use the password apple uses (from which they calculate
the WEP key somehow). Yo
