Hi,
please use one of the older ISO images from the snapshot folder on the server.
There is currently a known regression with the latest images that I have not
been able to resolve yet.
I think this image should work:

People,
I finally found some time to give Lenny a run on my Xserve-G5 (Dual
2GHz, Cluster Node version).
Just for the record, installing Debian (or anything non-MacOSX) on
this box is not exactly easy, as there is no optical drive and no way

I have been trying to use the d-i to install debian testing on my PowerBook
2400c.

Since the 2400c has no cdrom drive I have to use a network install.

Hello everyone. I am having a frustrating time of installing Debian on
my Powerbook G3 (1999) Lombard bronze keyboard laptop. I ordered the
Woody 3.0r2 six CD set from a vendor listed on the Debian web site. My
install attempt is for a Debian only OS on my laptop. Everything works
fine until I

This is a known problem in that base dependancies changed. It is
already fixed in debootstrap, and the next boot-floppies will also fix
this.
To workaround, add libpcap0 to the base line in the woody script.

Thanks to everyone, Ethan especially, in getting me to the install
phase!
I'm trying to install woody on a Lombard powermac laptop. I'm installing
woody because woody correctly tries to install yaboot, whereas potato
does not.
I'm booting from hd, then doing a kernel install over NFS (laziness -

The last KDE problem I saw on this list
From what I've been reading on the mailing list I am not alone in
this. I'm running potato 2.2r2.
With apt-get, I'm using the line:
deb http://kde.tdyc,com potato main crypto optional, and have tried
some variants of such.
"apt-get install task-kde (or) kdebase" produces the long list of
