So I am restricted to reading CF cards only on the iBook. I have all
the same modules loaded: sg, sd_mod.
Anybody got any ideas what I'm doing wrong and how to remedy this?
hotplug-utils did the trick for me;
I added a line in fstab to mount my FAT16-USB-Memory-Stick:
/dev/sda1
/usb/sda1
I have a 6-in-1 card reader. On my i386 machine (2.4.20) I attach the
card reader and see the following in dmesg:
usb.c: registered new driver usb-storage
scsi1 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Vendor: Generic Model: Generic CF Rev: 2.5D
Type: Direct-Access
