Does anybody know what is wrong, and/or how to get it fixed?

r the first branch of the if statement
when it should.
The earlier 991019 version works fine, but doesn't support the +value
style of usage.

I'm running debian unstable (probably going to switch to testing) using
a 2.2.19 kernel on a PowerMac 7300/200 with a 450 MHz XLR8 Mach Carrier
G3 ZIF installed. I've been using it since last December with no
problems that I've detected.

I've attached the init.d script I've been using for at least a year. I
hope it is useful to other people.

oes anyone have some
suggestions for how to fix this, or is this file system toasted?

Has anybody else noticed this? Is it an intentional change? It makes it a
real pain to switch back and forth between 2.2.19 and 2.4.4.

PS: When I boot 2.4.4, I can'
need to run a kernel with
CONFIG_PACKET=y and CONFIG_FILTER=y. I found that my kernel only had one
of these, so I built myself a new kernel, and dhcp-client is not working
like a champ

PS: In my case, after pump has configured everything (as far as i can tell,
the same as my static configuration), it appears all the incoming packets
are being dropped when I try to ping the DHCP/DNS server (based on the
output of "cat /proc/net/dev").

PS: I haven't used a 2.4 kernel yet, so I can't comment on that.

x86 unstable pump is at 0.8.3-1? Is there any place (on the web) where I

There are 25 more lines like the last two. I'm pretty suspicious of the
differences between the Frame buffer device, Video memory, and MMIO regs
lines.
I'm also a little surprised to see "Hardware accelerator: None" when
using
the original kernel. Both xdm.log files say:

powerpc, if it needs to be rebuilt for all the debian platforms, or if
I've screw something up myself.
I'd be greatful for any info on how to get it fixed.
