and search for eth, there should at least one line stating which
module has been mapped to eth0.
Alright, for eth0 I have this result:
eth0: BMAC at 00:05:02:d3:e6:d8 --> that is the built-in ethernet
controller

I'm a little bit confused about my network adapters. I'm runnig
debian on an oldworld G3. Beside the built-in ethernet adapter, I
have a second one plugged into the PCI bus.
running lspci:

I'm running Debian 3.1 on a G3. To setup the Xserver, helpers like
xviddetect, anXious, XF86setup and SuperProbe should be useful.
Unfortunately, I can't find those apps anywhere. Any hints?

Hi!
I just installed debian on an old world g3. Running lspci to figure
out the hardware address of the graphic card brought out the address
00:16:00. When I start the X Server, it does not find a screnn
though. Still I can read in the log that i suggests to use 00:18:00
instead. Changin
