Has someone compiled the sources of hylafax on debian ppc ?
It seem don't work .
The same config.tty and modem (Multitech 2843) on a RedHat 7.3 work fine.
I've compiled Hylafax on my Motorola Powerstack, the process seem to work
but I've always the same error when I try to send a fax:

trouble, whe I try to halt the system, the system reboot.
I've tried with:
# init 0
and also:
# halt
but when appear the message "system halted" it reboot again

I'm using Yaboot, at this moment I don't remember what is the kernel I'm
using, I've done many proofs with any kind of linux distributions for PPC
I've a G3 (B&W), 350 Mhz, 256 MB Ram, 15 GB HD Maxtor, Hub usb.
I thoought was a problem with ram or firmware.
I've done a mistake, with LinuxPPC and Suse the error is with RPM, with
Debian the system go in total crash and I must turn off the machine and
reboot the system.
While installing Suse, LinuxPPC2000 or Debian I've always the same error
returned after the 15% of installation, there is a problem with RPM, "...RPM
have returned an error with 256...", I've a G3 (B&W) 350 Mhz with 256 MB of
ram and the following partitions:
hda5 - 30 MB HFS (for boot)
hda6 - 4 G
I have many problems with installation of Suse 6.4 PPC, I have a Mac G3
(B&W) with 256 MB Ram, 15 GB HD Maxtor with following partitions:
