install on 6100/66

i have debian running on several x86 boxes, and my ibook2 (600mhz, 14"). i recently acquired a PowerMacintosh 6100/66 that lacks a cdrom. i am getting the transceiver from a friend in the next week. are there any caveats/tips/hints i may expect? does anybody have a how-to on this that is not alr
