on end), since there werent any modules that cooincided with powerpc
hardware, but it must just have been good timing with a kernel & xmms
in sid that fixed things. there was a patch for 2.4.0 iirc, but that
didnt work when i tried it. plus, it was 2.4.0 :)

d oss sound modules,
ogg works just fine.
set the output of xmms to oss of course - it does not work correctly
with esound. on the other hand, plaympeg only seems to sync correctly
when outputting to esound. so, you still kinda hafta play the work-around
game.

(Bsound/video sync. esd is fine, but the sound quality is horrible.
