Is it difficult to build a Debian Package from Source? I look for a good
Howto.
I need Python2.2 for Vpython. Has someone packed it already?
Thanks

Hmm, try apt-get --purge remove pmud && apt-get install pmud instead.
Fine, it works!
This is what I have:
-rwxr-xr-x1 root root 8198 Dez 20 23:34 /etc/power/pwrctl*
So do I.
Thank you, Michel

It doesn't work! Where can I search for logs concerning pmud?
hi,

Hi,
my pismo´s12GB ibm hd was very loud, so I changed to a 20 GB hd and all the
partitions where copied onto the new hd. Of course the partition table is
still the old one. How can I use the free space of the new hd? Is mac-fdisk
the right tool?

Hi,
told my pismo (kernel 2.4.2-pre1)
echo 1 > /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes
and changed also the default keymap to i386. But something went wrong and I'm
not able to do anything.
Is it possible to pass the kernel the argument
"keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes=0" ?
To echo 0 >
Hi,
I tried echo 1 > /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes after
having switched to
i386 sg-latin1.kmap.
Now I cannot do anything nether log in !
Is there a way out of this mess?
Thanks for help

bring for example
Control-Shift keycode 33 = bracketleft
does´t work. Is there a switch to enable it or is loadkeys a passed technique?
Somebody told me, that it is even possible to use i386 keymaps, but how?
Thanks for help

hi,
is it in the meantime possible to let the disk spin down after a certain time
of nonactivity? And how to educate it to nonactivity?
which kernel is necessary to have sound support?

prompt of yaboot? something like
image=vmlinux-2.4.0 root=/dev/hda10 ?
Thanks for help

Hi,
tried to follow the instructions to make pismo bootable. I have a few

partitions seem to be Mac Interna, like drivers, ..)
--- I'm new to mac: the mkofboot doesn't find the ofboot.b-File which
resides in the sys
