I have a 6-in-1 card reader. On my i386 machine (2.4.20) I attach the
card reader and see the following in dmesg:
usb.c: registered new driver usb-storage
scsi1 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Vendor: Generic Model: Generic CF Rev: 2.5D

On my iBook 500 (ATI Rage Mobility 128) the newest dri-trunk packages
cause screen corruption in X on return from suspend. After that I must
switch to a console and restart X to get out of it.
Reverting to the 10.02-2 package made the problem go away again. Kernel

I decided to test out external video again today on my iBook2 500, which
has Rage Mobility M3 in it.
After starting X4.2 (Branden's testing packages) and then going back
into console mode m3mirror gave a steady picture on the display (it used
to wobble around), although there was some cruft on the

Today I updated my kernel (to 2.4.20-pre5-ben0) and the Conexant drivers
to hcfusbmodem-0.98mbsibeta02090200ppc. Turning dialtone detection off,
I managed successfully to connect to my ISP using the internal modem.
Grateful thanks to Ben and Marc Boucher!

So, I picked up a beige G3 300 from eBay. It has OpenFirmware 2.4, and

Not entirely sure where this should go to, as I'm running Branden's
pre-release packages that aren't in the main archive yet... but posting
it here at least to log the problem somewhere.
On powerpc sid, Evolution crashes the X server *every* time on main
startup after the splash window disappears.
