Hi Robin, I'm using standard PC cards (USB, Firewire, Network Interface) with my Umax Pulsar without any problem - and this includes OS X. As a guideline, you should make sure that the card (or chipset) is supported by Linux in general, and that the code required is part of the mainstream kernel.

Hi, what information do you need specifically? From the users point of view there is no difference between NFS v3 and NFS v4. And I'm not aware of any error/problem on PPC. When you're in a restrictive environment, v4 is definetely for you because it just uses one port, namely 2049 for the nfsd.
