hmmm. funny thing. i finished the package upgrades today, booted from 2.6.8-3 with bootx (had to restore the modules tree from a backup) just figured i would try 15 again, and aha, it worked ! but then now i just booted and it quits again... turns out it need termination on the scsci bus, or else

well, yes, but i did not do a reinstall. i boot off a backup drive image and use the restore in disk utility (panther) or carbon copy cloner (jaguar) (maybe). also, my yaboot is first bootable partition on the disk, and the option i get from ybin.conf only allow me one osx alternate partition, bu

Harold, I didn't find an initrd.img, I found an initrd.gz and an initrd.info - .info complains not a valid ramdisk, .gz gives me a blank screen. Could you double check the names off the CD? Will try .gz again, renaming to ramdisk.image.gz. In the meantime, can someone find the woody directory for
