Hello all, I have been thinking of adding more RAM to my powerbook, but I realised that I am not sure about the Apple identification scheme giving correct answers for me, so I don't know what kind of RAM I need. I have a PowerBook5,2 and looking at apple identification guide[1] I don't see a lap

oops, one last "crucial" item: - added the following to sbin/init in the initrd diskram component in order to access my cdrom on /dev/hdc (and possibly other devices): modprobe -a ide-cd ide-disk sbp2 sr_mod Hence to reason to copy over modprobe to the initrd in the instructions provided.
