Hello all, I have been thinking of adding more RAM to my powerbook, but I realised that I am not sure about the Apple identification scheme giving correct answers for me, so I don't know what kind of RAM I need.
I have a PowerBook5,2 and looking at apple identification guide[1] I don't see a laptop with a G4 running at 1GHz and firewire 800, although the port layout is simillar to what they call PowerBook G4 (15-inch FW 800), (15-inch 1.5/1.33GHz). So question: 1) What is the correct type of RAM for this laptop? 2) Does it need a special brand of RAM? I can easily buy Kingmax, but I am not sure if I won't run into trouble.
