Hi all i thought this post could be of some interest to people having problem building kernels 2.6.16-rc3 or -rc4. the problem with the keyoboard not being loaded was due to the options about ADB missing in the "default" configuration of the kernel. So someone needs to enable: CONFIG_ADB=y CONF
