As you may know, Jens Schmalzing, the mol and mol-modules maiintainer died
tragicaly in july. I was led to believe that someone was interested in taking
over his packages, but since there was no upload since july, and mol-modules
where accumulating bug reports and blocking the 2.6.12-6

Misteriously ive found that when i use mpg321 it works with the
headphones!!! But none of the controls in alsamixer worked with this
sound. It seems that it is working through /dev/dsp0 but i dont know
if it is the audio card or the headphone jack directly(is it possible?

You *should not* make them all built-in kernel, but select one of the
following(or make both as modules and then load one manually):

Ive forgotten my kernel, it is a 2.6.13-1, but ive tried 2.6.8 and
1.6.12-1 too and its the same. Whith Ubuntu hoary and breezy in their
live cds is the same, no sound.
