I'm trying to understand the situation...
the way I found to have the options recognized during a session is by
creating a "/etc/modprobe.d/usbcore" file with the single line "options
scsi_mod max_luns=8". I find it surprising that putting the same
content into the file "/etc/modprobe.d/scsi_mod"

It fixes _supending_ with radeonfb (otherwise, the machine freezes before

Does this patch aplays only for redeonfb console
or can it have something to do with my X11 freez ?

Dear All,
I'm running my Apple (aluminium) PowerBook G4 1.33GHz 12" under
Debian/Sid. I"m currently running a 2.6.7 kernel (that I compiled).
First, I don't really understand what exactly are the pecularity of my
system? What is common with (eg) a 15" powerbook?
FWIW, lspci gives me

Thanks for answering
The problem is that showkey doesn't give any key when I press the apple
button at all, so I can't bind it to the right button...
I also tried putting in sysct.conf the f11 and f12 keycodes (the ones
showkey gave me) but the menu keeps on popping out when I press fn +
Alt...
Well, there are some problems that I've encountered... First of all when
I run showkey I can't get no key for the apple key (not the fn one..).
It's like it doesn't exist!
The second problem is... Well, it may sound as I'm stupid, buy I can't
find mouseemu. It isn't in the offical repositories and

Hi, I get the same error message on my Pismo, the only difference is
MPlayer interrupted by signal 4 in module: decode_video
and I got the packages from the same repository as you. I'm still
looking for a solution...

Hello,
I am new to this port; please be gentle.
I just got my new shining pbook 15", installed sarge on it using pre-rc2
debian installer, and most of the things worked just fine out of box,
which impressed me a lot. Great work!
However there are few things that don't work for me.
1. Sleep.
Hello,
When i compile 2.6.9 i get:
*** Warning: "pmac_xpram_read" [sound/oss/dmasound/dmasound_pmac.ko]

The same .config was ok with 2.6.8.1 - what can cause the problem.

The usual site - search the list archives (Guido Guenther maintains the
patch; it's a swsusp patch now, as pmdisk has been merged with swsusp).
If you use it on a radeon chipset there's another little fix you may need
to apply
