Hi all,
The radeon 7500 of my ibook is dying. It seems to have crashed its video ram
(at least Apple Disgnostic CD report that) after playing SuperTux with OpenGL
(I hope/think there is no real correlation...).
I'd like to boot my ibook in order to access the disk remotely. Is there a way

.Xdefaults seems to be used when starting X via startx, .Xresources when
using a login manager like xdm
Good day,
I've no sound with gnome-cd on my powerbook G4 12" running debian
unstable, while sound is ok with other apps such as totem.
This problem is report as bug #265221
Can anybody with an apple laptop can tell me if he has the same
problem?
Regards.

Ok, I have tried to build a new kernel that uses initrd (but keeping ide
support built-in). The kernel boots, goes up to USB detection, and then
freezes instead of panicking as it did without initrd.
Any idea ?

Hello everyone,
I've been searching through the mailing-list archive but
haven't seen a similar problem report yet, so I'm asking
this here.
We have two G4 dual 1GHz xserves here, they are running 2.4.25-ben1
and working fine, including USB. In the p

just for completeness, the described not able to write disk at once
behaviour seemed to have been an overburning issue.

Hi,
i'm using stock kernel kernel-image-2.6.8-powerpc.
removing auto-scanned device from xcdroast setup and adding device
manually with /dev/hdb solved the problem.
Only tells me now that dao (disk-at-once) is not supported by device,
but tao (track-at-once) seems to work.
