Hi everybody,
I'm trying to configure and install kernel-source-2.6.5 on a Summer

rid of any hardware drivers for hardware that isn't installed. This
turned out to be trickier than I thought--I don't know exactly what

kdesu kwrite /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
"kdesu" allows you to open apps with root permissions.

Hi everyone,
My brother just bought a nice PowerBook G4 (latest model), but he didn't
get sound to work correctly (with alsa). It's really strange, sound work
on the output line but not on the HP :(
If you need further informations, don't hesitate.
Thanks

I don't know if this helps, but I tried a few combinations:
(1) radeonfb + X, usefbdev "yes"
(2) radeonfb + X, usefbdev "no"
(3) ofonly + X, usefbdev "no"
1 and 2 leads to a yellowish X screen after resume
3 works.

There is no such thing as 2.6.6-benh (Or I don't know it). There is
