The neat thing about pico is that it shows you all the commands at the bottom of the screen. If you wanna do it in a GUI editor, just open it up in your editor as root like this: kdesu kwrite /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
"kdesu" allows you to open apps with root permissions. "kwrite" is a simple GUI text editor. "/etc/X11/XF86Config-4" the file you wanna edit.
