The interrupt controller does get a spurious interrupt (apparently during
setup of the kernel interrupt handling) and the kernel bails out. Sounds
like OF got messed up somehow, did you try to reset the OF paramete

the eject (using something like acme, ikeyd, ... ?) was 'stuck', either
physically or due to the infamous kernel bug, and kept auto

I have experienced problems installing programs like amsn on an testing
system, It says that:
kde3base-audiolibs
and
kdebase-audiolibs (installed) are not installed or are not going to be
installed
