Hello All,
I've been having trouble the last couple of days syncing the benh
kernel. It seems to be stopping at the same place each time.
Here's the command line:
rsync -az rsync.penguinppc.org::linux-2.4-benh ~/src/benh_kernel
and here's where it stops:
recv_generator(arch/cris/boot

I've got a patch that's a combined 2.4.21-ben2-xfs, which may help as a
starting point. It wasn't that bad merging the two, I just haven't
gotten around to 2.4.22 yet (honors supervisors want to see work :)

Has anyone been able to install debians kernel-patch-xfs on top of ben's 2.4.22 kernel tree. I have not been able to get the patch to work and compile a working 2.4.22-benh tree with xfs suport.

This is probably the most bizzarre computer thing I've seen.. turns out that
the signal strength is a function of the angle (wrt the keyboard) at which
the lid of the ibook is placed.. If I open the lid all the way, to the
maximum possible angle, the signal strength goes all the way to 0. If I b

I mean that the rate of the sound is 48 kHz but the soundcard expects 44.1.

I've been trying to get xmms 1.2.8 working with the now-included ALSA output.
I've had ALSA installed here for a while, but have been using the OSS
compatability layer (with sucess). Now I'm trying to convert to using ALSA
directly.
I have an original iBook with the PowerMac DACA sound chip. A
Hi all,
I've also attached a ksymoops output for the Oops I posted before.

Hi,
I've seen a couple of posts mentioning a benh version of the 2.6.0-test
kernels. Where can I find that kernel? Do I need BitKeeper or is there
a CVS gateway? Are there any (inofficial) packages for bitkeeper for
Debian?
Thanks,
Viktor

Well, this is established. It is DRI related. When I disable DRI, X
works fine.
What do you think?

Hey,
Observed a kernel oops on 2.6.0-test5-benh. Anyone on the non benh
stream using test5 had problems sleeping the ibook? I've attached the
oops.

Hi all,
Doing some more testing on 2.6.0-test5-benh, I've been having some weird
encounters with gpm. I can't get it to copy and paste => mouse button
emulation isn't working properly?
This the the values of /proc/sys/mac_hid/* :

mouse_button2_keycode = 97
