The modifier keys don't work for my old iMac /w 266MHz G3 CPU. After
fixing the problems with the modelines to get xfree86 running and
changing XkbLayout to de_DE to get german umlauts, I don't know how to
get chars like @{}[]|~\ hidden somewhere on the third keyboard level.

Bryan,
Sorry for the delay in replying. I know my install instructions could
stand some clarification and/or updating.
I'm not clear on one thing: whether you are actually incapable of
moving on after the failed install/config-device-drivers step. In my
experience on powerpc this is pretty much
Heyall,
I have a twofold question (mine always seem to be multi-questions eh?)
I am running Woody. 2.4.18 default kernel.
After spending alot of time googling to find out how to get my 2nd and
3rd button working, I added the following to my /etc/sysctl.conf file:

extensions) I only get the short 8.3 filenames. The long names used to work
on the 2.4.19 kernel. Is there an extra module that I need to add? I've tried

Unfortunately, I hadn't had the chance to backup my config files before,
so I lost everything. Since it's a long time ago, I forgot how I
configured my keyboard for use with the x window system, i.e. to be able
to reach the at, ha
I have just got confirmation that my ISO is capable of fully and
sucessfully installing woody on a Tibook 17" so pretty much all
current 2003 macs should work fine.
Do read the README though, you MUST install base system via the
basedebs tarball on my iso, and NOT via debian http since debian htt
