Simple: do AMD x86-64 or IPF 64 use OF? If yes, piece of
cake; if not, forget it.

Hi everyone,
Since I've bought my Ibook ( a [EMAIL PROTECTED], with radeon M6LY), last year,
I hope to use the vga output a day, with a videoprojector, for example...
Using a Debian sid distribution, I can have this feature enabled with an
old 2.4.20-ben10 kernel, but not with the more recent

This is a known issue, though it's not fixed in the latest version
neither (seem to not be that simple due to the way this driver is
designed...).
BTW, a quick way to rmmod

Note that the current version of the driver is a bit hackish as
it contains a mismatch between the soft modem core in the driver
and the firmware that gets downloaded to the modem. This was done
to work around a problem with the newer firmware, but can cause
other issues or misbehaviour.

Hi,
I downloaded the linux driver for the conexant usb modem from the
conexant site, but I didn't manage to make ppp work with it.
Has anyone already started a ppp successful PPP connexion with
those drivers?
Thanks in advance.
