I use when I go on hollydays and do not have Inet cable connection available. It works quite well for me, __but__ I've experienced that if I put the iBook to sleep having the modem modules loaded, I get kernel oops when it wakes up; and it usually ends with a system hang up. As a workarround, I simply rmmod the 3 modules after finishing the connection with ppp and everything works very well. Btw, my iBook is quite new, 900 MHz/12" (bought in may). Regards -- Kiko
