I use GNU Emacs extensively, and I get bothered by having the
Alt keyboard on my iBook working as the Meta key in Emacs, and then having
no Alt whatsoever.
In other words, is there an option either in Linux, X or GNU Emacs
to make the Alt

I am trying to vent off by watching those silly animations
from UserFriendly...
~ $ galeon userfriendly.org./animation/episode1.html

Hi all,
I'm using the 'Tasks/End-user/desktop environment' section of aptitude
and installed succesfully gnome/sawfish/mozilla/gdm on my
PowerMac8600-Woody/stable-2.4.18.
Next I installed esound and managed to get sounds, also because I
installed the module 'dmasound_pmac'.
But now, when I
Hi,
I consider purchasing a graphic card for my beige G3. Is it possible to simply
pick a "PC" card, or are there any hardware incompatibilities which would
prevent it from working ?
