Title: The right Shift Key not working ?!?
Hi,
Another question ...
I ‘ve never been able to use the right shift key of my ADB keyboard (I tried in the debian distro and in the YDL).
I also used a french keymap, but same thing ! what is strange is that ‘xev’ gives me the right informations...
I think you were on the right track. I have a similar setup: a Sonnet
G3/375 in an 8500. I use Powerlogix's utilities to set the CPU:cache
ratio on boot up. The Powerlogix extension loads before the BootX
extension, so I do nothing with the G3 settings in BootX. Under Linux,
a check of /proc/cpu/
I forgot to add.. autodetection if I'm using Cups for printing... I
noticed printtool but that requires getting rid of Cups I guess...

Hi.. is there a program in debian that autodetects printers connected to
the network? I plug my ibook into the network at school and there are a
whole bunch of printers on that network which are at various locations
in the building.. in Mandrake, printerdrake used to autodetect all these
printers o
Thanks folks for the tips.. they were very helpful.

Some more details ... :
After a little bit of work it appears that BootX checks for a G3 processor to enable the cache. Or G3 or G4 cards use the same way to enable the cache, so everything can work but is not.
I did a sm

Hi,
I would like to use this cache on my box ...
I saw some tutorials for PowerLogic cards (with their Cache Utilitie). It seems to work with the card even if it’s not a power logic, but the fact is bootx does not agree to en

I am trying to compile a new kernel on my PowerBook G3 (under woody) to
enable ip_masquerading (if there exists one such precompiled kernel, I am
interested). I downloaded 2.4.21 sources, make xconfig, make dep, make
clean, make vmlinux, make modules, make modules_install, copied vmlinux in

Hi,
As mentioned in the past, there is a new PowerPC board for consumers
called "AmigaOne", and we have been porting the Linux kernel+some
drivers to it.
I run Debian Woody on mine and of what does work, works quite well.
I would like to help Debian support this board as a flavour of PPC (if

Hello
I compiled Ben's kernel (rsynced on the 18th of Dec) with the airport,
orinoco and hermes as modules. Further I apt-got the wireless-tools
(testing). Now, using iwconfig eth1, I got the following message:
Warning: Driver for device eth1 has been compiled with version 14

Hello
I had compiled Ben's kernel several time with different option (because
of the radeon module). Now I have some kernels i'd like to get rid of.
I tried dpkg -r kernel-image..., but it doesn't work. Now I will kiil the
useless kernels manually, but I do not know all the files I can (have to)
