SIOCGIFADDR got '00:00:00:00:00:00'
and then the splash screen just hangs around doing nothing.
I did an strace, and it sits waiting on a read:

The booting up time is about the same compared with an
ordinary computer.
But I usually don't have to boot the iBook a lot,
since the powermanagement works fine. You just close the
lid when you don't need the iBook any more and open i

TiBook.
I was wondering how thier performance and battery life were under linux.

Hi,
Do you think it's possible to have a minimal debian working on a powerbook 1400 with PCMCIA support. ?
The pcmcia would be used to plug a wireless card.
PowerPC 603ev 166 MHz
PowerBook serie 1400
40 MB ram
1,3 GB Hard disk
