For the X server, you may need a BusID in the devices section. Did
you see a debconf message about that? Maybe just try

I'm attempting to use translations for some programs, but have been

I was trying my hand at building my first debian package (actually

Hi Gjermund,
could you tell which kernel version and which X server version your are
using ? You can get the first by typing 'uname -a', and the second with

Well folks,
I've hacked for some time on the XF-4 config file
and finaly configured the "fbdev", in the right way.
The solution for my problem was to setup the
right H and V Refresh rate in X conf.
Get your refresh rates with:
$ fbset -x
That's all folks.

Hi all,
I've recently gotten a new HD for my TiBook (40 Gig :), which makes
relatively loud noise when moving the head.
At first, it did that every five seconds, which, as you can imagine, is
unsupportable after a few minutes.
I've since tried to find what accesses the disk every five seconds, a

Hi everyone,
I'm using mac-on-linux (aka mol) 0.9.6x [x={1,2,3}] with a 2.4.18
kernel, and MacOS 9.0.4, and I'm experiencing some deadlock troubles I
don't fully understand:
Now and then MacOS freezes, and the only escape is to brutally force mol
to quit under Linux. This freeze problem seem
