Ok, that got rid of offb and tdfx working, but I don't have a usable
console now. The text is 640x480 and is so mangled, I can _just_ barely
make it out to type out a few simple commands (like shutdo

I just yesterday got 2.2r5 installed on a 7200/75 -- works great --
but the backspace key does not work right in bash. Ctrl-h does work
but I'd like the Delete key to do the same. Actually at one point I
was surprised to find it working fine but then it broke again after
restarting. This was be

Should this apply to mobile phones as well? With the fiddling you
describe, my Nokia 6210 shows up in /proc/net/irda/discovery and
irdaping works reliably, but neither a terminal program (such as
minicom) nor a phone

Hi,
I have a strange problem with booting ibm 7043-150 off my custom kernel.
For some reason it can't find the interpreter
Unable to load interpreter /lib/ld.so.1

I partitioned my hard disk with the apple tool and changed order with fdisk
-r to
/dev/hda1 Apple_Bootstrap
/dev/hda2-/dev/hda7 Apple map and others
/dev/hda9 HFS
/dev/hda 10 Swap
/dev/hda 11 Linux Native partition
I can install the system an
