Hi, I have a strange problem with booting ibm 7043-150 off my custom kernel. For some reason it can't find the interpreter
Unable to load interpreter /lib/ld.so.1 Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel. However, ld.so.1 and /sbin/init exist lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 11 Mar 11 18:08 /lib/ld.so.1 -> ld-2.2.5.so -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 108889 Mar 11 18:06 /lib/ld-2.2.5.so -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 31872 Jan 25 22:03 /sbin/init Also, I tried to boot with libc6 compiled on that machine with the same result. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? here is the complete boot message (root on /dev/sda3, swap /dev/sda2, PreP boot /dev/sda1 booting using Debian yaboot version 1.3.6-1) Total memory = 768MB; using 2048kB for hash table (at c0400000) Linux version 2.2.16 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)) #9 Mon Mar 11 2 Boot arguments: root=/dev/sda3 ro Warning: no mac-io found PCI buses 0..1 controlled by pci at 80000000 RTAS Event Scan Rate: 1 (2999 jiffies) OpenPIC Version 1.0 (4 CPUs and 16 IRQ sources) at fcec0000 OpenPIC timer frequency is not set time_init: decrementer frequency = 1246851180/60 Calibrating delay loop... 249.04 BogoMIPS Memory: 19124k available (952k kernel code, 11064k data, 92k init) [c0000000,f0000000] Dentry hash table entries: 131072 (order 8, 1024k) Buffer cache hash table entries: 524288 (order 9, 2048k) Page cache hash table entries: 262144 (order 8, 1024k) POSIX conformance testing by UNIFIX PCI: Probing PCI hardware Warning: no ADB interface detected Don't know how to access NVRAM with 4 addresses Linux NET4.0 for Linux 2.2 Based upon Swansea University Computer Society NET3.039 NET4: Unix domain sockets 1.0 for Linux NET4.0.
