Hi guys,
Downloading the debian potato installer kernel from
nubus-pmac.sourceforge.net seems to have worked great for my performa
6115. But I have 2 small problems, the first being that none of
/dev/mouse /dev/input/mice /dev/input/mouse* seem to be my adb mouse.
The second, and the one I'm hop

James,
The amount of grief you'll get from upgrading MacOS X 10.0.4 to 10.1
depends on where your linux partitions are located. If you are sharing
a drive already between linux and MacOS X you'll be okay. However if like
me you have a separate linux only drive, 10.1 will cause you major grief.

You'll need to manually boot from open firmware after you install OS X.

Hi all.
I finally picked up the OS 10.1 upgrade cd - if I install this is it going
to adversely affect the installed linux partitions?
Cheers.

Hi,
I'm still trying to install woody, using bf-3.0.17, on my
G4 (400Mhz) and it doesn't really work :-(
The first stage install (debootstrap) is going ok, but
after the first reboot, the system seems to be in
a pretty bad shape :

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has managed to establish IrDA connection to a
WinCE device using linux on ppc?
Just bought an iPAQ and I'm curious if I can make it talk with my TiBook
(2.4.12). All advice is welcome.
Regards,
Tomek
Hi all,
I followed some of the advice that I received here about moving the
partition I was trying to boot with quik to in front of the macosX
partition. This still failed.
I have now abandoned the idea of dual booting for the moment and am
just trying to boot debian on this beast.
I booted off
