'New input layer' doesn't really say anything as it supports both
keycodes. The question is if they're for Linux keycodes (which could be
assumed given the way they point out 'New Input Layer') or ADB keycodes
(like Chris said). The latter wouldn't be too useful for us.
I am just getting bore

Howdy,
It worked for me after installing kernel-image-2.4.12-powerpc.
Unfortunately, there is some kind of video driver bug which causes
character duplication in some ncurses programs. Are there plans
to package a more recent kernel?

It sounds like a kernel bug that should be fixed in a more recent
kernel. It wasnt a laptop b
The ia64 port needs the latest version of scsitools, which
apparently hasn't made it into testing for a couple of months now
thanks to a build failure on powerpc.
According to the build failure log (link below), the build
process is having trouble finding wish. The build dependencies
include tk8.2

I'm being freaked out by a really weird bug.
iBook2, running testing, with 2.4.16-ben0 as the kernel.
The machine is convinced it's a month ahead (as the headers on this mail
probably say).
I can reset the date with date, but as soon as I put the machine to sleep or
reboot it, it'll jump forward
