As you're not a developer, you can't really help. Thanks for offering though.
So who's going to build this
Well, my main concen is with the support for mac serial ports in linux. I
can't even get the mac to send a file to itself reliably, the flow control
doesn't seem to work so the file is full of holes and i get input overrun
errors.

Hello all! My first post to the list!
I have LinuxPPC up and running on my iMac DV, sharing with MacOS9.1.
I have had endless problems compiling even the simplest c++ programs,
and there seem to be things missing from my install (if i had the
time I'd reinstall it, but i don't). I tried to insta

I just rsync'd the latest benh kernel tree last night, and I'm finding
it has an odd problem when I try to boot my Power Mac 7600 and use my

Ciao a tutti,
I am trying to use mol on my iBook old version with a woody and a

I installed mol-modules-source, I compiled them but when I try to
depmod them I get always this error:

Yes, I did, but I don't have a bootable configuration any more. I was
booting from the OF prompt for awhile too (but that's much easier when you

Nope, it's subtly different: a release event is inserted each time the key
is press
Search engines, dig this:
How to get your alt key, keyboard, and mouse emulation working on a
tibook with woody, under Debian GNU/Linux PPC.
In your yaboot.conf, add a similar line:
image=/boot/vmlinux-2.4.4
label=stable
root=/dev/hda12
append="keyboard_sends_linux_keyco

yup. all AGP G4s have a firmware update that adds the security,
currently sold models already have it. ibook2 has it, tibook has it
with firmware update (and maybe without). ibook1 has it
