This actually works on my slot-loading iMac. It will definitely not work
on older iMacs, though. I don't know which slot-loading models support it.

Does this help for ppc?
The help talks about BIOS which I know is only on x86.
Does this code include anything that helps a non x86 comp?

Gee, quik works just fine on my 7200. But the OF is so lame that it doesn't

Well, we are close to it. Darwin source has sleep support for the
machine, so except for some binary only drivers,

All the software and packages mentioned in this post are from the stable
release.
So I got this 256KB cache module for the Ol' 7200/75, which has a hard time
keeping up with the last 486 I used, and it seemed to run faster.
I'm using X 3.3.36 on potato. Comparing XF86Config files between my debian
install and my linuxppc install, I found the following difference:
On debian ppc XF86Config, there is the line:
XkbKeymap "macintosh"
On linuxppc, there is no such line, instead:
XkbKeycodes "macintosh"
XbkTypes "default

Nautilus actually has a real Build-Depends, but some of its dependencies don't
(e.g. medusa), and libglade doesn't build out-of-box right now.
I built libglade using the patc

if its done right it should include build-depends which you can see in
I sort of had as a back burner project getting everything together
I'd need to compile nautilus.
However, yesterday I checked to see if nautilus was available precompiled
and it was. I'm downloading it now to see if it works.
If nautilus works, does this mean evolution will compile?
ISTR that one

How do I override the yaboot.conf manually?
I was playing with the partition table in order to use
the HD more efficiently. I even editted
/etc/yaboot.conf but was stupid enough not to remember
to run ybin before rebooting. So, my "rescue"
partition is /dev/hda17 but yaboot currently thinks it
