Oops I didn't realize this thread is on debian-powerpc. Most PC
emulators won't wotk on PPC; experiences with VMWare on PPC anyone?

Hmm. Another caveat: Downloading binaries from random sources can
be dangerous, as you never have any real idea of what they could
be capable of doing. Downloading source and compiling it is
potentially safer since you *could* audit the code to find any

I'm about to install debian on a powermac 7200. Right now it has the
macos on it but I want to wipe the drive and just have it running
